Ad-Hoc Committee on Board Restructuring

In 2023, the Executive Board voted to create an ad-hoc committee with the task to examine the role of the Representative to the Executive Board (formerly Delegate to the NACAC Assembly) within the board, along with the board’s structure overall, and make recommendations for any changes to the current board structure.

The committee is comprised of the following members:

  • Aileen Lee, Canadian International School Hong Kong

  • David Zutautas, DZ ed Higher Education Advising
  • Michelle Chow-Liu, Western Academy Beijing (ex-officio)

Over the last year, the committee has been researching, collaborating, and working on a proposal for an amended board structure. This proposal will be presented to the Executive Board at the 2024 NACAC Conference in Los Angeles in September.

If passed by the Executive Board, this proposal will be presented the the membership for discussion and a vote in first half of 2025.
