Founded in 1987, ABA educates the next generation of leaders and innovators, inspiring them to make a positive impact on their world. The leading International Baccalaureate Continuum School in Oman, and a non-profit, ABA enrolls over 940 students from Kindergarten through Grade 12, representing over 65 countries.

For over 30 years, they have been providing students with the skills for an ever-changing future. Today, they must plan for technologies and professions not yet invented that will likely be key to defining global interaction in the future. They need to help their students find comfort with change and develop a genuine sense of flexibility and adaptability. Experiences as members of problem-solving teams and meaningful opportunities to travel and to see and experience the rich diversity of our world build this foundation.

At ABA, they meet students where they are and provide them with the tools they need for success. They focus on the whole child to ensure balance, support, and success. Their small class sizes allow faculty to get to know students on a personal level and understand how to help them best.  ABA promotes academic excellence within a context of intercultural understanding and respect.

Regional Institute fees will be $220 USD for Secondary School and Individual Members, $245 USD for Organizational Members, and $470 for Post-Secondary Members ($245 for the Institute, and $225 for the College Fair, which will be open to prospective students.)

The institute will offer scholarship opportunities for secondary school and independent counselors who could not otherwise afford to attend.

Registration will open later this year.

Separate registration will be required for EACH MEMBER who wants to attend the Regional Institute. 

Post-Secondary Members: registration for the College Fair is housed within the registration form. Only ONE MEMBER from each institution needs to register for the Fair. Please check with your colleagues before registering to ensure only one attendee pays the Fair registration fee.

Housing Options

Room blocks will be negotiated at nearby internationally recognized hotels as there will be no on-campus housing.
